I am thrilled to apply for the Product Designer role at Nine, and I am excited to share my passion for UX design with your team. As a career changer from the fashion industry to the world of UX, I've found my true calling in creating user-centric experiences that have a positive impact on people's lives.

Over the years, my journey has been marked by a genuine curiosity for understanding human behaviour and an unwavering desire to solve real problems. My transition from fashion design to UX has been both challenging and rewarding. It was during my studies at General Assembly that I discovered my true passion for UX/UI design and the power of design thinking in addressing complex challenges.

In my previous role at Hotsprings, I honed my skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships. Working on multiple client accounts, including well-known brands like Big W, Seafolly, and Best & Less, taught me the value of effective communication, adaptability, and delivering high-quality design solutions within tight deadlines. I always took pride in going the extra mile to ensure our clients' needs were met and their visions brought to life.

As a UX/UI Designer, I've had the opportunity to work on projects while at General Assembly. I led a team in the Bodhi Holistic Hub client project, where we enhanced mindfulness and well-being through a seamless user experience. Our research-driven approach and collaborative efforts resulted in the design of a referral program that predicted a 5% increase in user sharing and conversion.

During my time at university, I participated in a transformative subject in Indonesia, where I engaged with local communities and designed a successful marketing campaign to address the smoking issue. This experience provided valuable insights into effectively communicating with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The campaign's impact was so significant that it led to the mayor of Ambon banning tobacco companies from sponsoring public events in the city.

What truly excites me about joining Nine is the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of brands and contribute to an organisation that values creativity and design. I firmly believe that the intersection of creativity and technology has the potential to redefine how we experience entertainment and media.

In my personal life, I am an avid traveler, runner, and designer. I am also passionate about giving back to my community and have been involved in fundraising efforts for my church community through design and event management.
